Eastside Myotherapy & Massage in Bayswater, Victoria is an independent business operated by Roy Blakey as a sole therapist. Roy provides you with individualised myotherapy, remedial massage and deep tissue massage treatments tailored for your musculoskeletal condition.  Roy takes the time to listen to you about your condition and the affect it has on your daily life, whether that is your work, sport, recreational or general activities during your assessment and treatment.

The clinic is situated inside the Forno Chiropractic centre in central Bayswater. Access is readily available for you, with a council carpark situated outside the clinic building as well as easy access to the train station and bus route. The rooms have been recently renovated, are clean, soundproof and air conditioned for your comfort. Processing of payments by the use of Hicaps & electronic payment is available for your convienience.

Roy is qualified myotherapist who offers you personalised myotherapy & massage treatments. Roy completed Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy & is a member of Myotherapist Association Australia. Roy is studying for a Bachelor of Health Science degree (Clinical Myotherapy) at Southern Schools of Natural Therapies and is presently on leave before completing his last subject (Clinical Practicum 3) prior to graduating. Before moving to Melbourne Roy operated a massage clinic in New Farm, Brisbane.

In December 2018 Roy undertook volunteer work in Cambodia as a myotherapist team member of The Remedy, under the leadership of Rotana Cheng. The team treated local community members at a rural clinic in conjunction with the charity One on One medical team. Professional development courses undertaken by Roy in 2018/19 include Lumbar Spine/Sacro-Iliac Joints (SIJ)/Hip Joint Dysfunction (Jon Snowsill), Advanced dry Needling (Nathan Ulph), Treating Hip Pain & Dysfunction using NAT Protocol and Treating Frozen Shoulder using NAT Protocol (Stuart Hinds).
