Myotherapy & Remedial Massage 45 minutes – $80 *
Myotherapy, Remedial Massage & Deep tissue massage 1 Hour – $90 *
Deep Tissue Massage 1.5 Hours - $135 *
Roy Blakey is registered with all major health funds. Please check you are covered with your individual health fund. Processing of payments by the use of HICaps & electronic payment is available.
* All appointments are treatment based, therefore are approximate in time and include preparation, assessment as well as a review. New clients are requested to arrive 10 minutes early to complete a client history form. Initial appointments are normally 1 Hour duration, 0.5 Hour appoinments only available upon personal request (subject to approval by therapist).
What to expect at appointment
Your myotherapy or remedial massage appointment consists of a consultation including an assessment, your treatment as well as a recommended treatment plan which may include some rehabilitation exercises.
Your myotherapist treatment is individualised to each suit each client depending on their injury and may consist of one or a combination of the following modalities:
- Massage or manual therapy
- Dry needling
- TENS or electro-therapy techniques
- Stretching
- Exercise prescription
- Cupping
- Education
- Trigger point therapy
- Thermal therapy
- Muscle energy techniques (MET)
- Joint mobilisation
Roy's objective is to work with you in-order to restore, optimise and enhance your performance thus enabling you to perform your activities with better movement, more efficiency and less pain whether at work, home, recreation or sport.
Roy aims to improve your condition over the shortest possible period. I willingly work in conjunction with other professional health care practitioners for your benefit. A doctor’s referral is not required to visit a myotherapist.
